RULES OF PLAY

• Rally point scoring.
• 'Let' serves are permitted.
• Open-handed service reception is permitted.
• A block does not count as a hit.
• Men can only attack the ball from the back row.
• Men may only block men.
• For men, the volleyball must land on or cross the opposing teams 3 meter line. If the opposing team plays the ball and it is within the 3 meter line the rally continues.
• A women server can move to the front court to set, block or hit.
• Women are able to attack from anywhere on the court.
• For women at the net, there must be a downard motion on the volleyball ex: cobra, knuckles, roll shot... no dink shots or tipping.
• You may volley the ball over the net as long as your shoulders are square to where the volleyball is travelling.
• All games are best of 3 with the first 2 games capped at 25. The third game is capped at 15.
• Only the on court Captain of the team may resolve dispute(s) with the Ref or Tournament Coordinator(s).
